WiseEssentials

With the WiseEssential plan, you get an affordable, low monthly rate and have the security of knowing that you are covered. This is the most affordable of their health plans. Featured are high deductibles, lean benefits and low monthly rates. You only pay 25% coinsurance on your first six office visits. Visits include preventive care exams and/or naturopathic visits where the deductible is waived. Preventive screenings are covered 100%. You pay a $25 copay on acupuncture, spinal and other manipulations (again, deductible is waived). A pharmacy discount program is also available.

WiseChoices

WiseChoices plan offers Washington State Life Wise members the widest range of covered benefits. These plans offer low deductible options and fixed copays for several services. PPO benefits offer fixed copays for preventive exams, office visits (including urgent care), naturopathy, spinal and other manipulations and acupuncture with the deductible waived. Preventive screenings and immunizations are covered at 100%. These services include mammography, maternity and vision care.

The WiseSavings plan is an HSA–qualified, high–deductible medical insurance health plan designed to work with an HSA account. It is designed to help you manage your health care, and save for current and future medical costs. You can use your contributed tax–advantaged HSA funds to pay for your coinsurance, deductible and other qualified medical expenses. By using preferred providers, you'll save more by taking advantage their negotiated rates. In order to open an HSA, you need to meet the following criteria: You need to be enrolled in a qualified, high–deductible plan such as WiseSavings. You are not covered under another medical plan, which would include your spouse's plan. You are not enrolled in Medicare and cannot be claimed as a dependent on someone else's tax return. With your HSA account, you are allowed make deposits and withdrawals, like you would with a regular savings account. The money may be tax–free if funds are used to cover any qualified medical expenses. Start saving today!
