If you live in Benton,
Clackamas, Clatsop, Columbia, Coos, Curry, Douglas, Hood River,
Jackson, Josephine, Lane, Lincoln, Linn, Marion, Multnomah, Polk,
Tillamook, Wasco, Washington or Yamhill county in Oregon or Clark
County in Washington, you will be able to purchase the
Medicare Advantage PPO
plans from Regence BlueCross
BlueShield of Oregon with or without prescription drug
coverage called MedAdvantage Plans.
You can Join Regence MedAdvantage if you are entitled to
Medicare Part A and enrolled in Medicare Part B and live in the
service area.
Regence MedAdvantage members can choose from a network of
doctors, specialists and hospitals for their health care needs.
You may use any doctor who is part of the network. You may also
used doctors outside of the network but you may have to pay more
for the services you receive.
All Medicare Advantage Plans agree to stay in the program for
a full year at a time. Each year, the plans decide whether to
continue for another year. Even if a plan decides not to continue,
you will not lose Medicare coverage.
If you live in Clark County
Washington you will also be able to purchase the
affordable, MedAdvantage
plan with the same coverage and for the same premium.
MedAdvantage is a PPO
with a Medicare Advantage
contract. Anyone who resides in the service area and who has
Medicare Parts A and B may apply. The plan offers valuable
benefits – coverage you can count on – at the doctor and dentist,
plus pharmacy discounts.
