Can see any doctor accepting Medicare payments maintaining freedom of choice with no primary care physician or need for referrals.
Uses cost sharing for services to keep premiums affordable while still maintaining freedom to choose.
Uses a preferred provider network of physicians, services, and facilities for lower cost sharing when using network members.
Emergency and urgently needed care are usually provided when traveling outside the U.S.
