Advantage Dental Plan started in Roseburg, Oregon as RDS Dental Plan, Inc. in 1994. It is a dental insurance company, owned by dentists that started providing group dental coverage designed by dentists to businesses in Oregon in 1995. They have since added individual dental plans and have expanded into both Washington State and Idaho.

Plans are currently available for businesses with two or more employees in all three states, and individual plans are available in Oregon and Idaho.
